Ponyhof Priemen is a riding and vaulting school in Priemen, near Volkratshofen and Memmingen in the Allgäu region of Germany. Founded in May 2015, the pony farm offers children and adults an enjoyable way to learn about horses and develop a respectful relationship with them. Its approach combines fun with an emphasis on safety, responsibility and the horse’s wellbeing. Riders learn about natural horse care, feeding and common illnesses, as well as how to recognize the horse as a partner.
Younger children are introduced to ponies gradually in groups, helping prepare the animals before taking part in activities such as groundwork, basic riding, vaulting and games. Group sessions can include exercises on a wooden horse, while more experienced riders can build on their skills in small groups or individual lessons. Private instruction is tailored to each rider’s experience and needs. The school also offers themed afternoons at the end of learning blocks.
