About Pop-Kultur Berlin
Anika, also known as Annika Henderson, is a versatile artist who transcends boundaries as a poet, composer, musician, DJ, and director. With a unique blend of dub, post-punk, psychedelic, and shades of dnb and political themes, she showcases a strong emphasis on the voice in her work. Her career took off in 2010 with the release of the experimental LP, "Anika," recorded with Geoff Barrow and Beak> in Bristol.
Collaborating with icons like Tricky and Jim Jarmusch, Anika continues to push artistic boundaries. She recently released her second solo album, 'Change,' and a live album, 'Eat Liquid,' showcasing her innovative spirit.
