Poplar Union is an arts and community center located in Tower Hamlets, London. Established in 2017, our mission is to support and empower the local community through art, culture, and wellbeing. We offer a diverse range of events and activities to cater to various interests and age groups.

From live music and theater performances to comedy shows and dance workshops, there's something for everyone. We also provide family-friendly activities, health, and wellbeing classes, community workshops, and festivals. Our unique space features three main rooms: Betty, a large studio for theater and performances, workshops, and our health program; Mike, a meeting room for smaller events, and The Library, connected to the café, where we host more intimate and informal events.

In addition to our artistic programs, we have onsite partners like Poplar Bakehouse, serving delicious breakfast and lunch, and Moo Canoes, offering paddle-boarding sessions and community activities on the Limehouse Cut Canal. As a charity under LARG (Lincoln Area Regeneration Group), we are committed to enhancing social prosperity in Poplar. By supporting Poplar Union, you are contributing to our ongoing efforts to unite and celebrate the lives in and around our vibrant community.
