Population Europe connects policy with demography. Independently funded and non-partisan, we disseminate the most relevant research findings from our unique knowledge pool to policy audiences and the public. Hosted by the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science, we collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders in policy, research, business and civil society. Population Europe has an extensive network of leading population experts throughout Europe that are nominated by the partner institutes. These experts support the activities of the network, for example, by participating in our various events and contributing to our publications.

About Population Europe
Population Europe is a prominent network comprising Europe's leading research centers in policy-relevant population studies. As a unique knowledge pool for population developments, the network disseminates critical research findings to both policy audiences and the general public. Working in collaboration with various stakeholders, Population Europe fosters connections with eminent population experts nominated by partner institutes across Europe.
These experts actively contribute to the network's activities, participating in events and publications. The network actively supports its partner institutes' projects while also engaging in its own initiatives. One of its primary objectives is sharing research through discussion papers, policy briefs, and PopDigests, which provide concise summaries of recently published research.
Moreover, Population Europe utilizes social media platforms and organizes in-person events and webinars, facilitating exchanges between researchers and stakeholders from political, economic, and societal sectors. To reach a broader audience, Population Europe developed the engaging exhibit How to Get to 100 - and Enjoy It, supplemented by an app and teaching materials.
