Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe is a bakery and food retailer based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, celebrated as the home of the Melton Mowbray Pork Pie. Established in 1851 by John Dickinson, the shop draws on techniques associated with his grandmother, Mary Dickinson, who is credited with creating the distinctive pie. Its team continues to handcraft and bake pies daily using locally sourced ingredients and traditional methods, including hand-raised pastry and a protective layer of jelly.
The shop offers a range of Melton Mowbray and speciality pork pies, alongside cheese, chutney, tipples and drinks. Customers can also choose from seasonal gifts and curated hampers, with combinations featuring pies, cheese and other gourmet selections. Beyond its products, Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe runs pie-making workshops and offers experiences in its Tasting Room, as well as hidden food tours.
The business serves customers through its online shop and physical store on Nottingham Street, and provides a subscription option for regular pie deliveries
