In den drei Hafenteilen Basel-Kleinhüningen, Birsfelden und Muttenz Au werden jährlich sechs Millionen Tonnen Güter und über 100 000 Container umgeschlagen, was rund 12 Prozent aller Schweizer Importe entspricht.
