Porters Soccability is an Essex-based football and disability sports club, established in 2014 to provide a safe, friendly and inclusive environment for adults and young people of all abilities. The club offers football and social activities, with opportunities for adults over 16 and young people under 16 to take part in regular Saturday training at Cedar Hall School in Thundersley. Its welcoming, family-oriented community is built around long-standing members, supportive relationships and a commitment to inclusion.
Porters also gives its athletes the opportunity to represent Great Britain at the Special Olympics. Five club athletes competed at the 2023 Summer Games in Berlin, earning a bronze medal in their category. The club supports participation in Special Olympics events and explores equipment and technology that may help members with different needs and abilities. Alongside training and sporting opportunities, Porters shares club news, celebrates its athletes and acknowledges the sponsors and supporters who help sustain its activities.
