Porterville

Porterville Paragliding welcomes visiting pilots and friends to Porterville, a small town in South Africa’s Western Cape described by the brand as the centre of the region’s cross-country flying scene. The organization caters to foot-launch pilots seeking to pursue personal-best flights, build their cross-country flying knowledge, or enjoy flying in thermic conditions. Its offerings include Advanced Thermaling and Cross-country Courses, guided tours, and support for pilots with a range of experience and ambitions.

For visitors looking to stay locally, Porterville Paragliding also presents the Flyers Lodge as a base for paragliding trips. The lodge offers accommodation and several facilities for relaxation and convenience, including a swimming pool, bar, and restaurant. The site also provides information for pilots, images, and accommodation details, including an annexe. With flying activities alongside lodging and on-site amenities, Porterville Paragliding brings together practical support and leisure for people visiting the area to fly or spend time with the local paragliding community.
