Port Jefferson Country Club is a historic country club on Long Island’s North Shore, overlooking Long Island Sound. Established in 1908, it offers an 18-hole championship course set across 145 acres. The 6,800-yard, par-72 layout draws on designs by Alexander Findlay and Devereux Emmet, combining golf tradition with scenic coastal views.

The club offers memberships, golf lessons, clinics, tennis, a pro shop, and facilities including a fitness center and locker rooms. Members and visitors can enjoy The Turn, a casual pub and grill near the course, serving breakfast favorites, burgers, salads, sandwiches, and drinks.

For celebrations and gatherings, the club hosts weddings, milestone occasions, private events, and golf outings. Its waterfront event venue sits above the Sound and features panoramic views, event rooms, personalized service, and menu options. The club’s professional staff also supports outings with golf facilities and service designed to make the experience welcoming and well organized. Port Jefferson Country Club is supported by Lessing’s Hospitality Group, which provides food and beverage services.
