About Portlaoise GAA Club
Portlaoise GAA is proud to introduce the innovative Gaelic 4 Mothers and Others initiative. Aimed at mothers and women in the community, this program offers a unique opportunity to get involved in playing Ladies Gaelic Football. Sponsored by Sports Direct, Gaelic 4 Mothers and Others provides a fun, non-competitive, and social environment for women to enjoy the sport while also staying active and meeting other mothers in the area.
Training sessions take place twice a week, on Monday and Thursday evenings at 7. 30pm in our club grounds at Rathleague. This initiative has gained tremendous popularity, with success stories popping up all over the country.
