Portobello West is a Vancouver-based makers market celebrating 20 years as Vancouver’s original makers market. It brings together local independent businesses and BC-based makers through community shopping events, including seasonal and holiday markets. Its 2026 Holiday Market is scheduled for November 28 and 29, indoors and rain or shine, with free live entertainment and activities for the whole family.
The event will feature a curated selection of more than 69 vendors offering family fashion, jewelry, art, home décor, skincare, gourmet treats, wine, spirits, and other goods. Visitors can discover one-of-a-kind gifts and support local makers, with admission priced at $5 for adults and free for children aged 12 and under. Portobello West also invites vendors to apply for market opportunities, with the 2026 Holiday Market currently accepting waitlist applications.
The organization shares updates through its newsletter and social media, and offers information about volunteering, workshops, upcoming events, and past markets. Its work takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of Coast Salish peoples
