Porto di Anzio Antichità is the art and antiques business of Piergabriele Vangelli de’Cresci, an Italian antiquarian, art dealer and fine-art connoisseur with more than forty years of experience. Based in Anzio near Rome, Vangelli continues a family tradition established by his grandfather Carlo and father Raoul, both respected antiquarians. He took over his father’s gallery on Via Margutta in Rome in 1985, organising exhibitions and presenting works at major European art and antiques fairs. From 2012 to 2020, he worked in London and was a member of the British Antique Dealers’ Association.

The business offers selected artworks and antiques, including sculptures, drawings and watercolours. Featured works include bronze sculptures, nineteenth-century studies of insects, and historic scenes and figures on paper. The archive presents examples of the objects handled by the gallery.
