About Porto Pride
Porto Pride is the celebration of LGBTI+ pride in the city of Porto, Portugal. It is a free and open event aimed at promoting human rights and making Porto a LGBTI+ friendly destination. With more than 20 artists and encompassing both the Porto Pride Fest and Porto Pride Summit, it is the largest LGBTI+ event in the northern region of the country.
The event aims to demonstrate that love transcends all prejudices, regardless of gender, skin color, ethnicity, or body shape. It embraces the essence of pride, which is about visibility and proclaiming the undeniable existence of individuals, providing a sense of belonging for those who need it. The Porto Pride Summit includes panels discussing the evolution of LGBTI+ activism, the influence of social media on LGBTI+ life, and the power of diversity in the corporate environment.
