Porzana is a modern Argentinian steakhouse in Minneapolis’s North Loop neighborhood, created by chef Daniel del Prado. The restaurant centers its menu on prime beef, with selections ranging from 100% grass-fed cuts to A5 wagyu, and draws inspiration from Argentinian steakhouse traditions. Guests can explore dinner, brunch, cocktails, and wine, with dedicated menus for each offering. Porzana also hosts private events and provides gift cards, making it a destination for dining and special occasions.
Chef del Prado was born in Buenos Aires to a family of Spanish and southern Italian heritage. He developed his culinary career in Colorado and Minneapolis, working in kitchens including La Belle Vie and Solera before partnering with Isaac Becker at Bar La Grassa. After further experience in Portland and Europe, he returned to Minneapolis as executive chef at Burch Steak and Pizza Bar. Del Prado later established a range of restaurants and concepts across the Twin Cities, including Martina, Colita, and Porzana.
