Festausschuss Porzer Karneval e.V. (FAS) is an organization dedicated to celebrating and sustaining the carnival traditions of Porz, a district of Cologne. Describing its approach as “family-oriented,” the FAS brings local carnival societies and clubs together and helps coordinate the community’s seasonal activities. A central event is the Porzer Rosensonntagszug, the Rose Sunday parade; the organization publishes parade schedules and arrangements, holds planning meetings, and manages participation and related requirements for groups and societies.
