TSG Porz, or Tauchsportgemeinschaft 1962 e.V., is a modern diving club serving enthusiasts between Cologne and Bonn. Founded in 1962, the association welcomes people of different ages and focuses on recreational diving while also maintaining a long-standing tradition in competitive sport. It is organised within the North Rhine-Westphalia diving sports association and trains according to the standards of the German Underwater Federation (VDST), providing internationally recognised instruction intended to build a sound foundation for safe diving.
The club offers introductory dives and courses for people who want to become divers, alongside regular club training and opportunities to develop diving skills. Its activities include programmes for children and young people, freediving (apnoea), underwater rugby and competitive diving. Nitrox is also available. Beyond training and sport, TSG Porz promotes environmental protection and brings members together through excursions, events and club activities. Its calendar includes group dives and seasonal gatherings, while news, photographs and information about training, membership and club life help prospective and current members stay connected.
