Poseidon Defense LLC

Poseidon Defense LLC is a firearms education and training provider serving Hampton Roads, Virginia. Based in Norfolk, the company says it does not currently have an established training location and directs prospective students to contact an instructor for guidance on choosing a class. Its offerings include personal firearms instruction, conceal-carry training, and qualification courses for Navy personnel.

Scheduled courses include Naval Pistol Qualification for M18-series handguns and Naval Rifle Qualification for M4 rifles, conducted as live-fire training in accordance with OPNAVINST 3591. 1G. Course fees vary according to factors such as class length, intensity, rentals, and group size; some qualification fees include the equipment needed to participate, though students may need to bring a belt for a holster and magazine pouches.

Poseidon Defense publishes upcoming course dates and provides online registration and calendar information. Enrollment generally closes 24 hours before a course, and the company asks students to give 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling.
