Positive Care And Mentoring

Positive Care and Mentoring, LLC (PC&M) is a private group home providing residential care for boys ages 12 to 18. Contracted by Georgia’s Department of Family and Children Services and Department of Juvenile Justice, the organization offers long-term and crisis placements but operates independently of those agencies. Its goal is to give young people a safe, supportive environment while helping them address personal challenges and prepare for their next steps.

PC&M provides room, board, supervision, and attentive care, supported by an individualized service plan and a multidisciplinary staff team. Services include case planning with families and partner agencies, counseling and therapy, mentoring, educational and vocational support, life-skills development, recreation, and community-based activities. The group home also coordinates routine pediatric and dental care and emergency medical referrals. Staff use non-violent crisis prevention practices and receive regular training.

Working with families and legal guardians, PC&M supports goals such as reunification, transition to foster care, or preparation for independent living.
