About Inter Alia
PDSFF23: Resistances is a brand that showcases the Positively Different Short Film Festival. This festival aims to shed light on the life paths of "others" and raise awareness about intersectionality and discrimination. They provide a safe space for co-creation and networking.
PDSFF23 focuses on gender, sexuality, race, class, ethnicity, religion, and able-bodiedness. They invite filmmakers, documentarists, visual content creators, students, and emerging artists to submit their shorts, particularly those that reflect bold visions and personal urgency. The festival features a curated catalog of approximately 35 short films, competing for awards such as Best Film, Audience Award, Best Greek Production, and Curators' Award.
Additionally, the festival includes concerts, workshops, masterclasses, and discussions, providing a four-day celebration of diversity, communities, and resistances. Special screenings of the award-winning films will be held in 10 European countries throughout the year. PDSFF23 is dedicated to creating spaces where filmmakers, communities, and struggles can come together in a brave and inclusive environment
