About Postulate
Postulate is a developer-first email platform focused on keeping email data within the European Union. Its planned email API will let businesses send and receive transactional messages using infrastructure hosted in Germany and Finland, with no US cloud providers or transatlantic data transfers, according to the company. Postulate is designed to support GDPR compliance and provides domain authentication features including DKIM, SPF, and DMARC.
The platform combines email delivery with tools for managing inbound messages, webhooks, forwarding rules, contacts, and subscriber lists. Developers can track delivery events and, where enabled, email opens and link clicks. Automated bounce and complaint handling, spam filtering, rate limiting, and domain verification are intended to support reliable delivery and sender reputation.
