Ytmp3 is a browser-based service for searching YouTube videos and converting supported links into downloadable audio or video formats. Users can look up content by song title, artist, or keyword, or paste a YouTube video URL directly. Search results and trending suggestions help users find and compare recordings before choosing one to open in the converter. Available download formats depend on the source and conversion provider, with MP3 for audio and MP4 options where offered.

The interface is designed for desktop and mobile browsers and includes light and dark display modes, a multilingual language menu, and optional clipboard access for entering links. No separate desktop converter or YouTube password is required. Ytmp3 also publishes guidance on audio quality, bitrate, file storage, troubleshooting, and safe use of online audio tools. Its instructions explain where downloads may be found on common devices and encourage users to review format and quality options. The service emphasizes that public access to a video does not grant permission to download it; users should save only content they own, are licensed to use, or have permission to keep.
