Potatoes New Zealand Inc. (PNZ) is the official industry association representing the New Zealand potato industry. As a prominent advocate for the sector, PNZ is committed to promoting its interests and ensuring its sustainable growth.

Established in 2012, PNZ operates as an incorporated society, functioning previously as a product group within Horticulture New Zealand. PNZ offers three types of membership. Grower Members, who make up a significant portion of the association, actively participate in potato production for various purposes, including commercial processing, domestic fresh market, export, and seed production.

Trade Members engage in processing, trading, or retailing New Zealand-grown potatoes or potato products. Associate Members provide services to the industry, while Association Members are also associated with the potato sector but do not have voting rights. PNZ's areas of focus include market development, research and development projects, and biosecurity updates.

The association hosts an array of valuable resources, including technical bulletins, guidelines, and registered lines. By championing the interests of the potato industry, PNZ ensures its continued success and contributes to the economic prosperity of New Zealand
