Poterie Les Terres Anciennes is a family-run pottery based in Cardet, in France’s Gard region, where it has crafted traditional Anduze pottery for more than 25 years. The workshop combines established artisanal techniques with original finishes to create distinctive, hand-finished pieces. Each item is shaped, assembled, decorated and patinated by hand, making every creation unique.
Its collections include classic Anduze vases, garden pottery, pedestal vases and contemporary pots, made from grogged clay and fired above 1,000°C for durability outdoors. Original patinas applied to raw clay are a hallmark of the brand, and the finished pieces are designed to withstand time and outdoor conditions. The pottery’s products bring an authentic decorative touch to gardens, terraces, balconies and interiors, complementing both traditional and contemporary settings.
The Cardet workshop and shop welcome individuals, professionals and pottery enthusiasts throughout the year, while the brand also operates a seasonal boutique in Anduze’s historic centre. Visitors can explore the collections, see the workshop in action and learn about the making process
