Poultry Keeper is an independent hobby website created for backyard poultry enthusiasts. Led by Tim Daniels from his smallholding in the Black Mountains, Herefordshire, UK, the site is run by a small group of poultry enthusiasts. Its aim is to provide a comprehensive online source of practical information for people who keep or are interested in keeping poultry, supported by more than 500 articles and guides that are regularly updated.

The website covers chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl and quail, with advice on breeds, housing, breeding, incubation, hatching and rehoming. Its health resources address common problems across poultry, while seasonal guides help readers care for their birds and prepare for changing conditions. Visitors can also find information on predators, medication, bedding, feeding and flock management, alongside a poultry forum, a UK and Ireland directory of poultry vets, a breeders directory, poultry listings for sale in the UK and a calendar of poultry events. Poultry Keeper also reviews selected equipment and shares practical experiences from keeping birds.
