Pounding Pavement 101 is a job-search coaching and career strategy brand led by Ilene Rein, an executive recruiter who now helps job seekers understand what recruiters look for and present themselves effectively. Its coaching is designed for people at different career stages, from new graduates and mid-career professionals to senior executives, as well as military members and others navigating a career change. The program focuses on practical job-search strategies, resume and application feedback, interview preparation, confidence-building, and guidance through salary or offer negotiations.
Job seekers can book a Recruiter Review or explore free resources to get more targeted advice. The brand also offers workforce solutions, outplacement services, bootcamps and training programs, and support for student organizations. Pounding Pavement 101 emphasizes active, informed job searching rather than relying on applications alone, helping clients communicate their skills and pursue better-fit opportunities.
Testimonials describe clients gaining interviews, receiving offers, and moving into roles across fields including engineering, technology, marketing, and management
