Tim Heemskerk

Power2Peak is a training and coaching brand founded by cycling coach Tim Heemskerk, serving road cyclists and off-road riders. Its approach is built around collaboration between athlete and coach, helping each rider prepare to perform at the right moments and enjoy their sport more. Rather than relying on standard, science-based plans alone, Power2Peak creates individual training programmes tailored to each athlete’s goals. Coaching also includes ongoing monitoring, using information about a rider’s training and daily feelings to guide decisions and manage performance.

Heemskerk brings experience as an international-level mountain biker, sports scientist and former national mountain bike coach. He studied Movement Sciences at Maastricht University and completed the NOC*NSF Mastercoach Programme. As national coach, he worked with athletes at World Cups, European and World Championships, and the London and Rio Olympic Games. He later established Power2Peak to coach both road and off-road cyclists.
