Powerful Connection, founded by Mariska Jaspers, offers activities and guidance designed to strengthen the connection between horses and people. Based in the Hardenberg and Ommen area, the business welcomes participants of all experience levels and emphasizes relaxation and comfort for both horse and rider.
Its services include riding lessons, groundwork lessons, horse training and starting horses under saddle, as well as outdoor rides for beginners and more experienced riders. Riders can also join forest rides and swimming rides. For children, Powerful Connection organizes pony camps and special pony afternoons. Coaching is another part of the offering, alongside activities such as escape-room experiences and equestrian clinics and events.
Lessons are available at the business’s own location or at the location of clients with their own horses. Jaspers is a Level I Centered Riding instructor and is working toward an instructor diploma in academic horsemanship. She also earned a master’s degree in Child and Youth Psychology in 2019.
