Power Moms

Power Moms! APS is a social promotion association based in Florence, Italy, dedicated to supporting mothers and families from pregnancy through their children’s adolescence. Its mission is to help mothers experience parenthood with practical and emotional support, while preserving space for their own wellbeing and personal growth. The association connects women with professionals suited to their needs, including midwives for pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding; doulas for practical and emotional assistance; physiotherapists focused on pelvic-floor health and posture; and psychotherapists offering support for emotional wellbeing.

Its “Benvenuta Mamma!” project provides home visits from midwives, doulas and physiotherapists during pregnancy and the first months after birth; a new edition is planned for 2027, with fundraising underway. Other services include babysitting, workshops, psychological listening, help for mothers in difficulty, work-related support and children’s party activities. Power Moms! also shares information through its blog, covering topics such as postpartum wellbeing, family routines and changing friendships.
