POZŻ Płocki Okręgowy Związek Żeglarski

The Płock District Sailing Association (Płocki Okręgowy Związek Żeglarski, POZŻ) is a regional organization serving the sailing community in Płock and the surrounding area. Founded in 1976, it brings together local clubs, sailors, instructors, competitors and supporters of water sports. The association promotes sailing through training, sporting events and initiatives that connect people with the Vistula and Poland’s wider waterways.

POZŻ supports sailing education, coordinates training and examinations, and provides information about sailing qualifications and permits. Its work is organized through committees focused on sport, training and awards. The association also shares sailing opportunities, event calendars, club information and competition results, including those connected with the Polish Cabin Yacht Cup. Its activities include projects and events such as Wisła Sailing Days, regattas and celebrations of local sailing heritage. The website also features information about the sailing vessel s/y Mazowsze and sea sailing. By bringing clubs and sailors together, POZŻ helps develop regional sailing and celebrates the achievements and traditions of the Płock water-sports community.
