Public and Private Development Centre (PPDC) is a citizen sector organization established in 2003, with a mission to promote transparent and accountable government while empowering citizens to actively participate in governance processes. PPDC pioneers procurement and contract monitoring activities in Nigeria, sourcing relevant procurement data from public institutions using the FOI Act. The Budeshi platform provides easy access to over 10,000 procurement datasets, minimizing challenges for citizens.

PPDC successfully advocated for the adoption of the Open Contracting Data Standards (OCDS) in over 10 states, leading the charge for its implementation. The Homevida initiative targets young scriptwriters and filmmakers, influencing Nigerian filmmaking content with integrity values and providing incentives. The Digital Inclusion and Safer Internet (DISI) program promotes safe and free internet access, collaborating with local partners to enable citizen participation in governance through tech tools.
