Paramotor Flyers is a family-run powered paragliding school based in Durant, Oklahoma, offering personal instruction for beginners and aspiring solo pilots. The school is led by Shawn Elder, a USPPA-certified, tandem-rated instructor who teaches students one-on-one and guides them through a safety-first progression at their own pace. Training takes place at a private field at Durant Regional Airport, an easy drive north of Dallas-Fort Worth.

Visitors can choose a tandem instructional flight to experience powered paragliding with an instructor, a hands-on one-day introduction, or a full course designed to take students from ground training through supervised flights to solo. Equipment is provided during training, and the school also offers wings, paramotors and related gear through its store for those ready to assemble their own setup. Paramotor Flyers welcomes people with no prior flight experience and provides ground school, equipment instruction and practical training. Its small, family-run approach means students learn with the same instructor throughout, with lessons advancing only when they are ready.
