Imagine if every individual had the opportunity to flourish in a thriving multicultural community in Luxembourg! In 2018 a group of people with competences in the science and application of positive psychology living in Luxembourg have met around this vision, and finally, the Association of Positive Psychology Luxembourg asbl (PPL) was founded in January 2019. Who we are: PPL is a non-for-profit association promoting the science of positive psychology (PP) and its research-based applications. PPL is an organisation approved by ministerial decree to organise continuing professional training courses. We strive to make PP accessible to a wider audience in Luxembourg. It is the place where professionals from different areas of positive psychology, interact, create synergies and develop common projects on subjects like prevention, resilience, wellbeing & flourishing and performance. These projects are addressing and aim to support individuals, organizations and institutions from Luxembourg and/or the Greater Region). We aim to promote the application of positive psychology in practice, e.g. in coaching, counselling and psychotherapy, leadership, teamwork and business, and in education. What we do: · Promoting the advantages of PP among public institutions, companies, individuals, other non-profit associations, the Luxembourg education and health system, etc. · Relating the Luxembourg PP community with official institutions or authorities, other non-profit organisations as well as other PP associations from other countries. · Proposing and offering projects or programs based on the science of positive psychology that will promote and improve well-being at different levels (national, regional, business, schools, etc.) · Participating or initiating research projects · Training and workshops for professional and individuals · Building bridges with other related fields (HR, education, health, sophrology, yoga, mindfulness, Qi Gong etc.)
