About CCPPP
CCPPP (Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships) is a leading organization that aims to shape the future of Canada's infrastructure and services by delivering value to Canadians through public-private partnerships (P3s). With a history dating back to 1993, CCPPP is composed of 300 members, including public sector owners, construction, engineering, legal, advisory firms, banks, financiers, operators, and facilities maintenance firms. CCPPP fulfills its mission by convening both public and private market participants to discuss leading practices, advocating for the use of P3 models, conducting research to support evidence-based decision making, and demonstrating the benefits of the model.
They are committed to procuring infrastructure and services that provide efficient solutions to public sector objectives, value to taxpayers, and encompass essential attributes of effective P3s, such as risk transfer, considering the asset's life cycle, driving innovation, and leveraging private capital and expertise. Over the past three decades, CCPPP has successfully delivered over 300 P3 projects, including hospitals, highways, courthouses, transit systems, schools, and water/wastewater plants. The Canadian P3 model has gained a global reputation, and CCPPP continues to evolve the model to meet new challenges, assets, and opportunities.
Whether through availability-based projects, short-term construction models, or other procurement models, CCPPP and its members are dedicated to building Canada's much-needed public infrastructure and services
