The Public Procurement Service (PPS) is the Republic of Korea’s central government procurement agency. It supports public institutions and suppliers by managing purchasing, contracting, and related procurement services, with an emphasis on fair competition, quality, safety, innovation, and reliable supply chains. Its work spans the purchase of goods and services, foreign goods procurement, construction contracting, stockpiling strategic materials, and management of public property and assets.

PPS operates and connects users to digital procurement platforms, including KONEPS (the national e-procurement system), the Government Shopping Mall, the Innovation Marketplace, Venture Nara, and the Digital Service Mall. These services help public buyers find products and services and enable businesses to participate in public tenders. The agency also provides supplier registration and procurement guidance, support for innovative and venture products, consulting and training, and assistance for companies seeking opportunities in overseas public procurement markets. Additional services include procurement data and market information, product catalog systems, quality management, and channels for consultations, public inquiries, and reporting unfair practices.
