About PQC STEM
PQC is a non-formal education platform dedicated to bringing everyday science to preschool and primary school children. Our goal is to provide them with tools to understand their environment and surroundings. Through our engaging and free activities, we focus on the STEAM educational methodology, covering science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.
Our teaching approach revolves around inquiry-based learning, incorporating scientific process and product dimensions. This includes exploration, observation, analysis, recording, and communication to nurture scientific competencies. Our workshops follow a progressive learning sequence to gradually build ideas and thinking skills.
We utilize diverse teaching strategies to explore topics like air, water, light, and energy. Additionally, PQC is committed to promoting quality education, gender equality, sustainable development, responsible production and consumption, and climate action.
