Prado x Jardín

Prado x Jardín is a California native landscape design studio serving the Sacramento Valley and Bay Area. Its work focuses on creating ecological, waterwise gardens that reconnect people with the land and reflect the character of their surroundings. Guided by a vision of landscapes that evolve with their environment, the studio uses California native plants to support biodiversity and help create more resilient gardens in a changing climate.

The design process begins with a questionnaire and a one-hour onsite consultation to understand each client’s space and goals. Prado x Jardín then prepares a visual concept design for review, followed by detailed drawings that incorporate client feedback and support accurate contractor bids. The studio also recommends contractors experienced in native landscapes, helps review their bids, and collaborates onsite during layout to keep the project aligned with the design. After installation, a final walkthrough provides an opportunity to address questions and discuss plant care and maintenance.
