About Innovation in Population Health Center at the University of Chicago
The Praed Foundation is a public charitable foundation focused on improving wellbeing through personalized, timely, and effective interventions. Its work centers on Transformational Collaborative Outcomes Management (TCOM), an approach supported by assessment tools and resources for people and organizations across behavioral health, child welfare and adult protection, justice, organizational climate and culture, and business development.
The Foundation’s tools include the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS), Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA), Family Advocacy and Support Tool (FAST), Readiness Inventory for Successful Entrepreneurship (RISE), Crisis Assessment Tool (CAT), and Safe Systems Improvement Tool (SSIT). Its website provides tool manuals, frequently asked questions, an introduction to TCOM, and resources for parents, families, helpers, and agencies. The Foundation also supports online training in TCOM tools through its training site and shares learning materials, podcasts, videos, and conference information.
