Praesterno

Fundacja Praesterno is a Polish public-benefit foundation dedicated to supporting disadvantaged people and communities in achieving physical, psychological and social well-being. Its work focuses particularly on prevention and support related to substance and behavioral addictions, as well as challenges affecting young people and adults. The foundation develops educational and preventive programs for different groups, including adolescents aged 13–15 and young people aged 14–19 who may be at risk of social exclusion, with some initiatives also involving parents.

Its services and resources include free expert guidance by email and online chat through Uzależnienia. Poradnia on-line, training and workshops for prevention professionals, and educational publications available to download. The foundation also provides an online directory of support services for people experiencing addiction and their families, alongside the quarterly Information Service UZALEŻNIENIA. Its programs address topics such as behavioral addictions, digital well-being, aggression and cyberbullying, and safer transitions to adulthood. Praesterno operates regional centers across Poland, including in Bielsko-Biała, Bydgoszcz, Kraków, Lublin, Łódź, Puławy and Wrocław.
