Praire Dusters

Prairie Dusters is a Canadian aerial application company serving customers in agriculture, forestry, and other industries for more than 10 years. Operating under a Transport Canada-approved Operating Certificate, the company is based at Shoal Lake Airport and maintains satellite bases across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Its fleet of General Electric-powered Thrush aircraft can treat more than 20,000 acres of farmland per day, supporting crop protection and pre- and post-harvest applications.

Beyond agricultural spraying, Prairie Dusters provides forest protection and firefighting services. Its single-engine air tanker supports wildfire management, while its standardized fleet undertakes forestry contracts across Canada. The company also offers in-house aircraft maintenance, with services available for general aviation and small commercial aircraft. Aircraft recovery services include retrieval, transport, secure storage, and potential repair estimates. Additional offerings include fuel sales and delivery, aircraft parts and sales, and international operations.

Prairie Dusters emphasizes operational flexibility, multiple bases, and experience beyond agriculture, including overseas operations in Africa for the United Nations.
