Prairie Moon Nursery is the go-to destination for native plants in the United States. With the largest collection of native plants available for retail sales, we are proud to offer over 700 North American species. Our network of growers spans across the Midwest, ensuring the highest quality and diversity of native plants.

Whether you're looking for plants that thrive in sunny or shady spots, plants to attract pollinators like birds, butterflies, and bees, or even alternatives to traditional lawns, we have it all. Our selection includes grasses, spring bloomers, fall color plants, and favorites for the threatened Monarch butterfly. We also cater to specific landscape needs such as dry/sandy sites, lakeshores or wetlands, and ground covers.

In addition to plants, we provide custom seed mix design services to help you recreate a piece of nature's prairies. Our wide range of products also includes tools, gifts, and educational resources like our catalog and bestselling book Nature's Best Hope by Doug Tallamy.
