Praize Productions, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) arts organization based on Chicago’s South Side. Through its Performing Arts Academy, RIZE dance companies, productions, and outreach programs, it uses dance, music, and storytelling to celebrate and explore the Black experience and support artists and communities.
The academy offers classes and seasonal programs for young people at different ages and skill levels, with training in styles including ballet, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, modern fusion, acrobatics, and tumbling. Its summer camps provide curriculum-based performing arts activities led by professional instructors and artists, culminating in student showcases.
RIZE includes a professional dance company and a youth company, offering performance opportunities and a focus on movement and sisterhood. Praize Productions also creates immersive performances that honor Black heritage and share stories across generations. Its outreach work brings customized arts education and programming to schools, parks, and communities in Chicago and beyond. Together, these programs provide training, creative experiences, and performances for young artists and audiences.
