PrankPortal is an AI-powered prank call service that lets users set up live, lighthearted phone pranks through a web browser. Users choose a prebuilt scenario or create a custom one, enter a friend’s name and phone number, select a voice, and optionally add context to personalize the call. The AI conducts a real-time conversation rather than playing a recording, while users can listen live, follow a word-by-word transcript, and provide instructions to the AI during the call. Afterward, they can review call history and share transcripts by link.

The service supports US and Canadian numbers and offers one free call per day without requiring a credit card; additional calls are available through purchased credits. PrankPortal also provides an Android app. Its safety measures prohibit impersonation of authorities and medical professionals, block emergency and premium-rate numbers, and require the AI to reveal the prank if someone becomes distressed. Calls end with a friendly reveal, and users can add their numbers to the Do Not Call list.
