PRD Research & Development Foundation (PRD) is an ISO 9001:2015 and SEPA certified organization, dedicated to research and development in the fields of environment, hydrocarbon, chemicals, and allied areas. Established with support from the Government of Pakistan and UNDP/UNIDO, PRD focuses on creating value-added products from waste and by-products of the refinery and process industry. The foundation also works to enhance the capacity of existing industrial units, develop pollution-free environments, and improve technological know-how in the petroleum refining and petrochemical sector of Pakistan.

PRD's vision and mission are to provide timely and reliable testing services, consultancy, and technical support while upholding international standards. The organization aims to contribute significantly to pollution control and environmental maintenance.
