Precious Lillie

Precious Lillie Inc. is a nonprofit organization established in 2015 to honor the vision and legacy of Lillie Wilson-Wells, whose work championed the education and advancement of women and girls of color. Guided by the motto “Empower, Educate, Elevate,” the organization promotes higher learning as a catalyst for positive change and seeks to help develop future leaders, professionals, and entrepreneurs.

Its central programs provide scholarships and educational support, including book stipends and computers. The organization offers the Precious Lillie Cares and Corwin D. Alston scholarships, and reports awarding more than $125,000 in scholarships and related assistance since its founding. Precious Lillie Inc. also hosts fundraising events, including Designer Pocketbook Bingo, and welcomes tax-free donations to support its mission.

Beyond education, its work includes raising awareness and supporting efforts related to cancer prevention and treatment, as well as advancing health advocacy, cultural awareness, financial literacy, and socioeconomic empowerment. Through community engagement, events, and donor support, Precious Lillie Inc. works to create opportunities and positively impact the lives of students and the communities it serves.
