Precision Tang Soo

Precision Tang Soo Do is a Korean-style karate organization serving students in Southeastern Massachusetts. Its roots date to 1980, when Grandmaster Carl H. MacDermott III, an eighth dan in Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do, began teaching the martial art through MacDermott’s Tang Soo Do. The organization adopted the name Precision Tang Soo Do on January 1, 2011, while keeping its lessons, instructors, and core values unchanged. Master Hile and Master Moore assumed administrative responsibility, allowing Grandmaster MacDermott to focus his time on teaching.

Classes are run by one or more certified instructors who oversee each school’s operations. The organization’s website offers information for prospective students and families, as well as resources for current parents and students at all ranks. These include details about instructors, schools, forms, events, affiliations, news, and an online manual. Precision Tang Soo Do also lists additional programs and martial arts supplies among its resources. The organization is based at 350 Bedford Street in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, and welcomes inquiries by email or phone.
