PRECOBIAS Project

PRECOBIAS is a proactive initiative focused on the prevention of youth radicalization through fostering self-awareness regarding cognitive biases. This innovative project aims to empower young individuals who are either at risk of radicalization or have already been influenced by extremist ideologies. By enhancing digital resilience and critical thinking skills, PRECOBIAS seeks to help these youths understand the mental processes and biases that affect their perceptions and analyses of online extremist discourse.

In addition to directly engaging young people, PRECOBIAS extends its resources to educators, social workers, and civil society organizations dedicated to supporting vulnerable youth. The project offers a comprehensive training program designed to equip these professionals with the tools and knowledge necessary to guide at-risk individuals effectively.

Accessible resources, including toolkits, videos, and an online course, further complement the initiative's objectives. Funded by the European Union’s Internal Security Fund, PRECOBIAS collaborates with multiple partners across Europe to ensure a broad impact on youth radicalization prevention.
