The Digital News Publishers Association (DNPA) is a dedicated organization committed to promoting ethical and responsible digital news publishing in India. The DNPA has established a comprehensive Code of Ethics designed to uphold constitutional freedoms while ensuring the integrity and independence of journalists and publishers. This framework emphasizes adherence to laws, journalistic accuracy, and transparency, requiring members to responsibly verify information and offer the right of reply to affected parties.

Furthermore, the DNPA advocates for respect for intellectual property rights, ensuring that copyrighted materials are used appropriately. It addresses sensitive reporting issues by encouraging cautious journalism when covering topics like sexual harassment, child abuse, and communal conflicts. Members are also guided to implement effective grievance redressal mechanisms and engage in training programs to stay updated on relevant laws and ethical guidelines. With its robust policies, the DNPA strives to foster a trustworthy and accountable digital news landscape, ensuring that journalism remains a pillar of democracy.
