Gouvernement du Québec

The Government of Québec provides information and resources for people involved in the province’s prehospital emergency services, including paramedic students, practicing paramedics, and other stakeholders. Its dedicated prehospital services section explains the requirements for working as a paramedic in Québec and offers access to related programs, procedures, and official resources.

Key information covers the National Clinical Integration Program, which paramedics must complete to practise, and mandatory registration in the national registry. The site also outlines how paramedics licensed in another Canadian province can seek authorization to practise in Québec. Visitors can find contact details for the ministry responsible for prehospital services, regional providers, and health communication centres.

Additional resources include clinical intervention protocols, official guides, standards, policies, and medical direction documents. The section also describes how to submit a prehospital or community-based project through the regional projects office, and provides access to the Préhospitalier Québec extranet. Users can consult details about training, conferences, and other events, or subscribe to a newsletter for updates.
