Prekroč svoj tieň

Prekroč svoj tieň is a Slovak civic association and publishing initiative focused on creative writing, personal development, relationships, wellbeing, and healthy living. Its online magazine, also titled Prekroč svoj tieň, features articles, literary work, interviews, and contributions from its editorial team and external authors. The publication explores subjects ranging from personal challenges and self-understanding to happiness, nature, and health.

The association organizes literary competitions for young writers, including an annual nationwide contest for Slovak lower-secondary and high-school students, as well as an international competition for Slovaks living abroad. These initiatives provide opportunities for participants to develop and share their writing. The competitions are conducted with professional literary guidance, including support from writer, linguist, and university lecturer Peter Karpinský.

Prekroč svoj tieň also produces Srdečné rozhovory, a YouTube program in which the editor and contributors speak with guests about themes covered in the magazine and other current topics. Through its publication, competitions, and video discussions, the organization brings together readers and writers interested in creativity, reflection, and personal growth.
