Premio Emprendedores is an initiative supported by Compartamos Banco that celebrates entrepreneurs and the stories behind their businesses. Marking 20 years of recognition in 2026, the program highlights people whose ideas and determination have grown into successful ventures and sources of inspiration. The site shares past participants’ experiences, including entrepreneurs who credit financing from Compartamos with helping them expand restaurants, preserve traditional crafts, and pursue their business ambitions.

The award program unfolds through four stages: a call for entries, public voting, announcement of winners, and an awards celebration. Its purpose is to bring attention to entrepreneurs’ achievements and share stories of growth and transformation with a wider audience. Visitors can learn about each stage, explore previous winners and finalists, and follow the current edition.

Compartamos is also presented as a provider of financial products and services, including credit, cards, investments, and insurance. Through the award and its broader offerings, the brand connects entrepreneurial recognition with access to financial services that can support business development.
